Sharon Refvem, FAIA, LEED Fellow, Associate Principal
Sharon championed a wholistic sustainable design approach long before most people recognized climate change was a critical concern. A nationally recognized thought leader, she has been advocating for new and better ways to build and deliver buildings. As HPS’ Director of Sustainability, Sharon leads our internal Sustainability Resource Group, mentors the next generation of sustainability advocates and contributes to delivering heathy, sustainable projects for a wide array of clients.
John Spotorno, AIA, LEED AP, Associate Principal
John's understanding of good design has creatively contributed to innumerable projects from site planning down to intricate details. His leadership on community design boards attests to his commitment to improving the wider built environment. John is also passionate about sustainability and walks the walk, recording over 100,000 miles of bicycle commuting since he joined HPS.
Karen Glaser, IIDA, LEED AP, Senior Associate
Karen’s conviction that interior spaces contribute to productivity and wellbeing has led to the success of a wide range of projects. Karen excels at working with client teams to create welcoming spaces for staff and visitors alike through improved layouts, colors, textures and durable materials. In studio, Karen is a leader and mentor to the next generation of interior designers.
Ashley Park, Associate
With undivided focus and attention to detail, Ashley has developed and managed firm-wide financial support systems for over a decade. She oversees accounting, business, and project billing. Her positive attitude endears her to our clients and staff alike, while her strong financial skills crucially support the firm's strategic growth.
