Kaiser San Leandro Medical Center
With wayfinding cues visible from the freeway, easy to find San Leandro Medical Center is a regional healthcare campus serving East Bay communities and is comprised of a 440,000 sf hospital and a 275,000 sf multi-disciplinary clinical building. This project was completed in collaboration with AECOM.
From site planning, programming, design and construction management, HPS formed a vertically integrated team with Kaiser stake-holders, numerous consultants and contractors as well as various governmental agencies. The result is a destination healing center that is easy for patients to navigate and sensitive to the local communities that it serves. Art, natural light and access to views enhance the patient experience while providers leverage the meticulously planned clinical areas to deliver effective and efficient care.
